Park Math - by Duck Duck Moose App Reviews

This App is adorable and positively reinforces skill building with lovely background music and sound effects and interactive characters and graphics. The ordering scenes are especially fun and effective in reinforcing the quantity and cardinal ordering of numbers at the same time. The visual cues help for addition and subtraction, e.g., how many apples are left when one falls? You look at the tree and see two. Its not just an abstract question but the abstract numbers are there too so the idea is reinforced both ways. Great job!

I wish there were some way to set the difficulty even harder as my kid gets bored when they are not challenging anymore. Counting is one game that should be eliminated from this game.

My kids love all the Duck Duck Moose apps but this one is their best yet! This one tops it off with very well-thought-out math lessons. In this app, kids can move a bear around the park -- to to play on the swings, sandbox, slide, and seesaw. Like all the Duck Duck Moose apps, the interactions are really engaging and colorful. Park Math has creative ways for kids to learn math while theyre playing! The BEST.

This is my 3.5 yo sons current favorite app. He especially loves playing with the ducks on the slide, feeding the hippo, and doing the picnic pattern exercise. Kudos to Duck Duck Moose for finding such a graphic and engaging way to get kids to understand foundational math concepts!!

First off this game is so colorful and fun looking I knew it would be a hit with my 3 year old. There is so much to do in this app that I don’t even know where to start! Each little game has an activity within it that is educational but so much fun my sons doesn’t even realize he is learning! Some of the games he does guess at since he doesn’t understand counting too well yet, but I do think the game is helping him and he is only 3 years old. To navigate to a different game you just tap on the bear and he skates to another random game or you can click on the kite to choose a particular game or level. Each activity does say what you need to do like “Feed the hippo 5 green apples” but if you miss that there is no way to hear it again which I wish there was a way to repeat the instructions because I think it would help my son if he kept hearing the instructions. Now he just comes to me and points or just keep tapping or dragging items. Overall though the game is very cute and engaging. The illustrations are nice and kid-friendly and the background music is fun. I can see kids getting bored maybe with some of the activities after awhile, but there are so many to choose from that they can easily move onto the next. My son plays Park Math all the time and has yet to grow bored of it!

This is my 3.5 year old sons favorite Duck Duck Moose app. It keeps him entertained and interested while learning great math skills. There is plenty of variation with 7 different activities that can be played on two different levels. Brilliantly put together!

Overall a wonderful app - my 2.5 yr old loves this one, in fact he cycles thru all the Duck Duck Mooses apps and this one is his current fave :-)

My 3.5th enjoys this a lot, and when he needs a break from the math, he likes to "set off the fireworks" and play with the dog and ball on the opening page. This app makes it hard to make mistakes enough to keep kids from being discouraged, yet not so much that theyre not learning. Neat stuff from simple addition/subtraction, counting, following instructions, to sorting, balancing sides, and finding the next item in a pattern series. Cute graphics, too. My only complaint is that the sound isnt the best - sometimes sounds like the narrator is talking in a hole.

My twins love it! I would recommend it.

My kids, 2 and 4, absolutely love Park MAth. And I love that I can customize the level for their different ages. Very engaging, they are learning but they think they are playing.

My son love sending the ducks down the slide, balancing the mice and feeding the hippo. Great game!!!

I originally thought this app was too advanced for out two yo but it turns out its his favorite of all the apps by this company (we have them all)

I discovered today that my 3yr3mo old daughter can do subtraction and addition from 1-5. I found out because she aced this game. In one day she also now knows all her number symbols, up to 20. Very engaging, cute graphics. Love duck-duck-moose!

This app is great! Aesthetically its a 10. Well designed and easy to use. Many different activities within one app. I highly recommend it. Definitely worth the $1.99. Duck Duck Moose is one of my favorite app developers.
